What to know before you request access
When will PyroVeil be available?
PyroVeil is in development and is not commercially available yet. Registering your interest is free. It is not a preorder or a confirmed pilot place, and we have not announced an availability date.
What happens when I request pilot access?
Our team reviews your contact details, property ZIP, and any information you choose to share. We may contact you about research or future pilot opportunities. Property compatibility and pilot selection still require review.
What will selected pilot participants receive?
Selected pilot participants will receive priority preorder access before the general public, plus a discount when preorders open. Registering your interest does not guarantee pilot selection, reserve a system, or place a preorder.
How will PyroVeil fit different homes?
The review will consider roof shape, the building footprint, attachments, surrounding ground, installation access, and maintenance needs. We are developing the system around different property types rather than assuming every home will fit.
Does it replace home hardening or evacuation?
No. Defensible space, ember-resistant construction, and local evacuation instructions remain essential. PyroVeil is being developed as a potential additional exterior layer, not a shelter for people or a reason to delay evacuation.
Does it need water or external rigging?
The current concept uses inflatable supports to carry the blanket outward from rooftop storage. It does not use water, hoses, ropes, external cables, or an external frame. Its deployment and operating requirements still need engineering validation.
How will performance be tested?
The plan starts with repeatable deployment and coverage around different building shapes. Controlled wind and ember testing, installation and maintenance reviews, and supervised pilots would follow the relevant safety checks.
Could it affect insurance in the future?
No insurance discount or insurer recognition is promised. Any future decision would depend on test evidence, installation and maintenance requirements, and the insurer's own assessment.
