About PyroVeil

Developing another layer of wildfire preparation

PyroVeil is developing a roof-mounted blanket intended to deploy around a home after evacuation. The goal is to prepare an additional exterior layer before an emergency, without asking someone to stay behind to install it.

Alec Alakbarov

Alec is the founder of PyroVeil and Robotech Pros. His background includes spacecraft systems, control software, and robotics systems architecture.

That experience informs the work on system integration, controls, prototyping, and testing. Wildfire performance and safe installation still require their own engineering work and evidence.

Current development

From a proposed system to a tested product

PyroVeil is not commercially available yet. Current work focuses on packaging, deployment, materials, building coverage, installation, and testing. Concept images and animations explain the design; they are not proof of wildfire protection.

Prepare the system

Develop rooftop storage, controlled release, and repeatable deployment around different building shapes.

Measure what it does

Evaluate materials, seams, wind behavior, coverage, installation, and service needs under defined conditions.

Learn from homeowners

Use property information and conversations to understand practical needs and prepare future supervised pilots.

Preparation still comes first

PyroVeil is intended to complement home hardening and defensible space. It is not a shelter for people, a replacement for official guidance, or a reason to delay evacuation.
